Sterilization of liquid coffee extract

Steriflow recently put in operation a cascading water retort with 4 baskets and a diameter of 1300mm for the heat treatment of coffee extract.

The liquid coffee extract is filled into plastic bottles of different size, up to 5 liters. Water streaming has been selected because it’s a process that enables a control with high accuracy of the cycle parameters for this type of plastic packaging.
