STERIFLOW STATIC

In a STERIFLOW Static, baskets with products stay static during the cycle. The STERIFLOW retort is one of the most famous retort because of its high mechanical reliability and thermal homogeneity.
The STERIFLOW retort is suitable for sterilization, of punches, glass and plastic bottles as well as syringe for exemple.

Main characteristics

-        Material : stainless steal AISI 304 L and AISI 316L

-        Standard diameter : 1300 mm  : this diameter corresponds to maximum size of manual handling baskets (usefull dimensions : 830 x 830 X 855 mm, W x L x H)

-        Others standards diameters : 1450 mm, 1600 mm, 1800 mm, 2000 mm, 2100 mm ( first in 1982), and 2300 mm ( first in 1984). For these diameters, an automatic loading and unloading system is necessary.

-        Capacity :

• from 1 to 12 baskets in standard 1300 mm
• from 2 to 7 baskets for others diameters :

-        Maintenance: very low, as the only part in movement is the water pump.

-  Control system : MPI Elite or expert

For pharmaceutical industry, there is not really a standard.
The STERIFLOW retorts (autoclave) are built according to customer specifications.
The most common options are :
- AISI 316 L for all components, includiing pump, vaves, safety valves ....
- Special surface treatment of the vessel
- Front wall Air proof ( separation of clean area, ...)
- Air supply through a PALL filter
- Flow meter control on cacading water pipe
- Instruments on tri clamp system
- Fo value control
